23 hours April 30th, 2008 I signed a confidentiality agreement when I first started at CAB. And that I can cope with fine. I’m usually good with other people’s secrets (although it does help if I know that it’s supposed to be a secret). Really not good at keeping my own secrets. I frequently think “oh I’ll keep that possibility/opportunity/news/whatever secret for a while until I know more” and invariable that lasts a few hours, maybe an afternoon. Then I’m on the phone telling people.

A Democratic National Committee spokesperson confirms to me that the DNC, somewhat puckishly, asked Fox News if the network would run its ad attacking McCain over his 100-years Iraq talk -- and that Fox has agreed.

Update: The child’s memorial will still be held today in Midway, but his foster mother will now be able to bury him in her family plot, after contacting News 3.

A Portland high school is raising eyebrows with its brow grooming policy: shave 'em or go home.Some students at Centennial High School have shaved vertical lines into their eyebrows in a trend recently made popular by hip-hop star Soulja Boy. School officials say the mark looks like a gang symbol.

The gathering was hosted by Council representatives Deanna Maclaughlin and James Lewis. CPD District One officers were guest presenters. MacLaughlin reminded those in attendance that May 2nd is the last day for Street Department yard debris pick-up. Deb
