The state-run media in Canada (and the citizen-owned media who do their best to compete with them) all lament, daily (with intra-day lament updates, all day long), the price of a barrel of oil, and the resulting price of gas. Its not everyday that one gets news of an exhumed corpse being exhibited to hordes of tourists in a glass coffin; today, just such news came my way. Yesterday, the corpse of Padre Pio was put on display in an elaborate glass-and-marble coffin after his body was removed from the vault in which had resided for 40 (!!!) years. His body was too far decayed, it is reported, to be exhibited without enhancement (though it was considered "intact"); his face is covered with silicon mask prepared by a
